RI Summer of Soccer

This summer, the global game of soccer lands in the Creative Capital of Providence as a major hub for the matches being held at the nearby Boston Stadium (Gillette Stadium).

At the center of Rhode Island's Summer of Soccer festivities, the PVD Fan Zone at Station Park will open to the public on select dates with special events and programming between June 11 through July 19.

Set along the Providence River, this waterfront destination brings matches, music, and a vibrant city energy together in one place. Located just steps from the Amtrak station and Providence Place Mall, the PVD Fan Zone provides visitors with accessible and walkable options to move between the Fan Zone, nearby restaurants, shops, entertainment offerings, WaterFire and the Downtown Riverwalk.

The PVD Fan Zone is free to enter and will be buzzing with activity to watch the matches on the big screen, alongside live performances, interactive games, and a rotating lineup of local food trucks, beer, wine and spirits garden. Programming will give this space a distinctly Providence feel, shaped by soccer fans, artists and the cultural communities that define the city.
