Getting to the PVD FanZone

The PVD FanZone is located at Station Park across from Providence Place Mall and next to the Providence Train Station. The main entrances to the PVD FanZone are located at Finance Way and at the intersections of Gaspee and Francis Street.

Free Trolley, Explore Providence

The PVD FanZone, with support from the Providence Tourism Council, will offer a free trolley to explore Providence on select dates. The trolley will circulate on a continuous loop to key locations throughout downtown Providence.

Visitors are invited to use this service and explore all that Providence has to offer. This trolley is a leisure trolley. You can get on and off as you wish. It will not be on a strict time table and is first come, first served.

  • Friday, June 12 – 1 PM – 10 PM
  • Saturday, June 13 – 11 AM – 10 PM
  • Sunday, June 14 – 11 AM – 10 PM
  • Friday, June 19 – 12 PM – 11 PM
  • Saturday, June 20 – 11 AM – 10 PM (6 pm – 10 pm no stop at Downcity / Hilton Hotel- Lot at Atwells Ave. & Broadway)
  • Sunday, June 21 – 11 AM – 10 PM
  • Friday, June 26 – 1 PM – 10 PM

Trolley Stops – Look for the red sign!

  • PVD FanZone (Stillman St & Mosshasuck Ct, walk to entrance gate via Finance Way)
  • Exchange Terrace & Biltmore Park with access to The Graduate & Track 15 (1 Union Station)
  • Federal Hill near Bank of America (Dean St. between Atwells Ave. & Spruce St. )
  • Downcity / Hilton Hotel (Lot at Atwells Ave. & Broadway)
  • Aloft Hotel / 195 District Park / Pedestrian Bridge (200 Dyer)
  • College Hill / RISD Museum (20 N. Main St)
  • Marriott on Orms (1 Orms St)

 

Getting to Providence
Rhode Island is easily accessible by air, rail, and highway, with convenient transportation options, including nearby Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport, Amtrak and MBTA commuter rail service, car rentals, and the statewide Rhode Island Public Transit Authority bus system. For more travel info click here.

Parking
Providence is a very walkable city with ample parking garage, surface lot and street parking options throughout Downtown. Street parking immediately around the FanZone is limited. The closest parking garage to the FanZone is just across the street at Providence Place Mall.

ADA accessible parking is designated on Francis Street between Smith and Gaspee Streets.

You can park in any of the area garages, surface lots or street parking and walk to the FanZone. More info about parking can be found on the FAQ page.

Ride Share
Please note, some streets will be closed during the PVD FanZone. Visitors are encouraged to take a ride share to the PVD FanZone. There is a drop off by the Providence Train Station on Railroad Way and near the RI State House.

Train

  • The FanZone is next door to the Providence Amtrak Station.
  • Exit the train station from the glass doors near Cafe la France
  • Turn left and walk along the sidewalk perimeter of Station Park
  • The entrance gate will be on your right at the corner of Finance Way and Francis Street
