This summer, the global game of soccer lands in New England. Providence, Rhode Island’s “Creative Capital,” will serve as an officially designated FIFA World Cup Fan Zone for matches at nearby Boston Stadium (Gillette Stadium).
At the heart of it all: the PVD FanZone at Station Park. Open from June 11 through July 19, it will anchor Rhode Island’s Summer of Soccer. Expect a dynamic lineup of watch parties, live music, interactive games, a rotating lineup of local food trucks, a beer, wine & spirits garden and more!
Set along the Providence River, the PVD FanZone brings fan excitement and city energy together in one place. It’s just steps from the train station, shopping, dining, nightlife, and the Downtown Riverwalk.
Welcoming Teams & Fans: FanZone Highlights
With its prime proximity to Boston Stadium, a renowned culinary and nightlife scene, and cultural diversity, it’s no wonder so many teams and fans are making Providence their base. Providence is the official base camp for Team Ghana, will host the Portugal Futebol Experience, and will welcome fans from Scotland’s Tartan Army, Haiti, Canada, England, Germany, and more.

Free Trolley. Explore Providence: Select Days
The PVD FanZone will offer a free trolley on select dates. The trolley will circulate on a continuous loop to key locations throughout downtown Providence.
